Yeah think it was that one, you were dead centre of the box about 2 or 3 yards in, my player seemed really early and just stayed till Messi fell.

How do you shoot from outside the box btw? Any certain technique?

Holding L2 is the kiddy for shots from range

Hit and hope is my technique haha.

But seriously, I just practice timing them in the arena. Find out roughly how hard and long I'll have to press for a certain distance and let it fly.

No secret to it, just practice I suppose.

Always happens, complete pricks But then again, you're using an International team vs club team ?

Is there an unwritten rule against that?

I chose the Argies first!

Generally, the unwritten rule is
Club vs Club
International vs International
Home dude chooses
Half a star higher than other player max

Well I played as Sydney FC and this cunt stayed as Barcelona so not many people are following those rules.

Held him to a 2-2 draw, must've been embarassing for him.

I'll try adhere to those though, they're pretty sensible.

Yeah, there are always idiots who play with those sorta teams no matter what.

I quite like International, makes the game feel alot faster.

Any of you play in fifa lounge with your mates?

I tried it for the first time last night, don't know if it's available to do online.

Anyway, me and bro set it up... we decided to do the thing with free card thingies (forgot its name now)

I got
+2 goals
Speed decrease (his players 20% slower)
and attack boost or something

He got
Random cards (for ONE player of mine)
No cards for strikers (his)
and attack boost also

He was majorly pissed off \o/

Would be good with a few mates round and collecting these bonus things then using them wisely.

We used to play this regularily about 4 of us playing 1 on 1's. The best card to get are the fatigue cards. As soon as the other team has to start with low stamina they are always going to struggle the most.

Sorry to brag but this is the only thing I can brag about sadly haha...

That's a streak of 40 wins in a row without being beaten and my rank on there is 131st in the world.

I think I saw someone rated higher in here a week or two ago.
Damn...it ain't even worth to play online from Greenland. The game lags big time - up to almost a second before the players do what you did.
--->2mbits satellite connection to share with all internet connections in Greenland. Damn you state monopoly

Yeah in a row, some of them came down to extra time so it was pretty tough. I remember we had a little online caf league up at one point.

Was playing Fifa 08 last night (be a pro online Xbox360) The team I was playing with were winning 5-1. The other team made 2 substitutions, the players that came on were invincible. How the fcuk do you make your players invincible. anyway we stll won 8-4 but it's a joke when people do this

If you quit in stoppage time, so does this mean they wouldn't be given a loss?

if you quit at any stage in the game the game does not count, so you dont loose and you dont win

At the height of my powers, i was in the top 500 but never that high!

My internet pisses me off too much to play it with any consistency now, unfortunately.

Am im not right in thinking that if the opponent quits during the game, it counts as a win for you and your streak increases by one. If you quit you are reduced by -1?
