Any hardcore PES owners feel let down this year? feels like a end of an era. Konami have ruined a great game.

FIFA defiantly delivered this year (PS3 & 360 versions) absolute amazing game. It took me awhile to get into it though. Its the first FIFA i've owned since '99... this one is a REALISTIC you can get to football, the pace, shooting, passing, movement, everything is spot on! I was surprised how good the game was I used to hate Fifa.

Well, FIFA 08 for PC is'nt next-gen, PES 2008 is.

Ive heard the current-gen (PS2/PC) FIFA 08 is rubbish. So i'd go for PES mate, even though i think the game is a massive let down.

Yeah - posted a few thoughts earlier in the thread.

In summary - really enjoyed it and a very different experience to normal online football.

Give it a go!

On Fifa can you change the controls to the Pro Evo setup? I have been contemplating getting Fifa however cant get over the annoying use of the trigger buttons, having R2 as the dash button is extremely awkward and having played the demo it seems you cant even change it, there are 4 settings and on each setting R2 is always dash, just cant see why you cant assign your buttons.

Despite this everyone seems to be buying fifa. Maybe PES just isn't all the great after all. Fifa for once actually does rape the arse off PES.

Bollocks.
FIFA has cracked it this year, and even the Pro Evo bellends know it. Was playing the new Pro Evo at a mates today and it made me realise how inferior it actually is.

I own both PES and FIFA for my PS3 (i got FIFA free with my PS3)

I'm a massive PES fan, but this year, FIFA is 10 times better than it, believe it or not.

Be a Pro online mode is something which will be amazing in the next Fifa games.

It's good for now.

scored a great goal today, O'Shea round three players, corner of the box chipped it off the bar only for Jonny Evans to hit an overhead kick in from the other side

Guys, it says I need to win 100 XBOX LIVE ranked matches to unlock 60 games and so far I've won 101 without unlocking it. I don't get why it hasn't unlocked it.

Here is a cheat:

step1
go to created player edit screen were the attributes are. go down to traits. give your player all the bad traits eg: injury prone. then save and come out of the players edit screen to main menu. if you go back into it again and just make one fiddle with the stats, eg if crossing is on 70 flick it down to 69 the back to 70 again. save the player again and exit.

step2
now if yo go back in and go down to traits ( i said to get all the bad ones first) you will see a tick in leadership and no ticks in low concentration and low determination. simply untick the first and tick the two bad ones and save. you just got 1000 pts from no were.

step3 simply repeat the first step then when you go in again you will find step 2 happening

then do you just untick the bad traits or do I have to keep them?

Each time you do it you have to start from scratch, so untick all the traits. Then once you are done, you can untick all the traits.

I would advise you to get FIFA because every Pro fan who I've advised has come back to me saying FIFA is better this year.

any good cheapish strikers recommended?
So far I have Rooney, Tevez, Saha and Campbell. Dong too but I send him on loan as he's crap in the game but I will sell him next season, Adu was on a free transfer but he wouldn't come and Young from Villa wouldn't either.
Was thinking of Robbie Keane

How old are you?

If you are older than 12, get Pro Evo.

Bayern were selling Podolski at the start of the game, picked him up for 6mill.
