The first goal no, with Tevez today yes. I found it helps keeps the ball down quite a bit when you hit it hard!

I play 433 with my United. Made some latest decisions recently as I use to leave Scholes out because of his lack of pace/tackling abilities. Now I include him because Hargreaves' passing is horrid and messes up a lot of my moves. So I've switched Hargreaves to right back where he is rated higher than Neville. So with that most my defenders are pretty quick.

3 in midfield are Giggs as LCM, Carrick as RCM and Scholes dead in the centre. Tevez LW, Rooney central and Ronaldo RW where his stats increase to 90. May as well play your best player in his position in the game I suppose?

Go to Xbox Live - Create Unranked game - click it to private game where u pick opposition level etc - invite a friend -play game.

I havent really played around with formations and subs yet, just been getting the feel of it still, i'll get round to it though

Is this on the PS3 or xbox? i'd like to play some cafites on the PS version!

I was playing yesterday against some random someone, scored with scholes from the edge of the box, shit goal really seemed to role in, anyway somehow i lose the ball from a tackle from behind and no free kick and this lad scores on 89 minutes (disaster!), straight from the kick off i run towards goal, using the finesse button drag the ball past the 2 midfielders and let loose from just after the centre circle straight in the top corner??

Also i've found when i've made through balls and got a 1on1 with the keeper somehow this one lad i was playing kept pausing to put me off, even if he didn't have the ball, how is this possible? The little fucker did it 3 or 4 times.

Hargreaves amazingly has an 85 for passing. That's not fucking bad.

My FIFA says that i have signed into XBOX Live but when i try to play a ranked match or any other match over XBOX Live for that matter, it says i must be signed in to it and the EA Servers.
I must stress that i am definitely signed into live so i was wondering whether it was a problem with the EA servers.
Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

I love it, all though it can be a little frustrating at times. Conceeding the odd goal because you played a through ball and it sent it to the wrong player (tried it with through ball assist off and its even worse) which gets intercepted and he fucks off and scores, sometimes not getting free kicks when you were tackled from behind and he never touched the ball, the stuttering when playing some spastic the other side of the world.

Otherwise, first class game and i can see it being played for a long time yet!

The stuttering can't be helped when playing other people online. Host the game rather then joining other peoples as then you rarely get lag.

The thing I hate is all the play ons as they annoy the hell out of me.

That's very fucking annoying. Just played a game United V Brazil. He sticks 5 men upfront. Have you ever tried defending against Adriano, Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldiniho and Robinho? There pace alone ripped me apart let alone having 5 of them up there! 3-1 to him it finished.

Was it a flat 5 upfront? Because I played against someone who tried something similar and I played 4-5-1 and they didn't get any of the ball.
