I didn't think i'd enjoy the BAP Season mode as much as i am. It's brilliant
It's even better using the Pro camera angle, it takes some time getting used to it though.Just scored a stoppage-time long range screamer at the Emirates to win the game 1-0. Since i was promoted to the 1st team - we've gone from 16th in the Premiership to 4th in around 15 games. |

Have to say, I'm finding it extremely difficult to gain captaincy at United as a right back.
With Banega in central midfield it was easy. I just made sure to achieve my 3 objectives given and got as high a rating as I could. But I guess its different at United, when you have players like Rooney and Berbatov scoring every chance they can get almost. So I'm finding it difficult to get the 1st place rating at right back. Also, I'm captain of Brazil. But it seems you need to be captain of your club side, else you wont keep your player's stats for other modes. |

how long does it normally take to get a created player into the national side?
Mine hasn't got a sniff at England yet despite getting star ratings and goals. At the minute Fergie keeps playing me left wing so surely I can get in ahead of Joe Cole |

This live stats thing is awesome, all last week i used walcott up front as his finishing became lethal mixed with his pace. Now he is back down to 76 i will have to see if he can still finish.
Fabregas up to 95 :O Clichy to 88 Adebayor back to 86 Bendtner up to 82 Vela up to 81 ![]() |

Why oh why isn't there a create a team feature in this game? It would just be such a great bonus. I used to love doing draft tournaments with mates using dream teams on Pro Evo and would also like to creat a team from scratch. Fantastic game though and really enjoying it so that's the main thing, but little things like this get to me!
Is there a better feeling from any footie game than on this when you smash in a 25-30 yarder at Old Trafford? The crowd, the stadium, the net rippling, it just all looks amazing. |

thanks but i'm on a 360. Finally managed to get on it last night though, and choosing any for the whole defence never again. You are controlling one player then it'll jump to another making you lose the ball.

I tried Pro difficulty for both BAP and Manager mode when I just got the game (and the console), and I was disappointed to find that it seemed tot hard for me. I don't know if I've gotten a lot better since I got used to the controller, or if Semi-Pro was made to be incredibly easier than Pro, but it's almost ridiculous. I regularly score 4-5 goals in BAP (as striker, though), and Manager mode stopped being fun at 9-1 over Villa.
I would originally consider myself better than Pro difficulty too, so I guess I just needed to get used to the controller (and get the feel for FIFA again). Think I'm going to go into the deep end and just start a Manager mode on World Class and stick to it no matter how bad things go (if I'm not fired, in which case I start over again on World Class until I make it). Oh, and I don't know if it's just me, but when I switched the BAP mode camera from the BAP camera to tele fully zoomed out, things went much better for me. I'll still use the BAP camera for online BAP play I think, but as a striker tele worked very well. |

I'm sure someone will dive in before me, but I'm playing the PS3 version tomorrow at a mates house (and own XBox version) so can tell you then. I'm also intruiged, sometimes there's more than you expect. I know PES 08 is completely different on XBox and PS3.

Finished my first season with United. Won the Prem and FA Cup.
My top scorers were 1. Ronaldo - 30 2. Rooney - 26 3. Berbatov - 22 4. Tevez - 15 5. Scholes/Fletch/Carrick - 4 Gary Neville and Jonny Evans were the only ones to not score at least once for me. |

Hmm. I can't help but finish top scorer in BAP it seems. I continued trying to play as Fabio to get him the United captain's armband in the second season and I stopped trying to score loads of goals, I just defended as much as I could and got forward, scoring sometimes to try and improve my rating and achieve my bonus points. I scored another 50 or so goals on semi-pro and finished the season still without the armband.
I decided that Berbatov getting a 9.7 rating every game wasn't going to make my task easy, so I transfered to Roma. Back on the subject of keeping your edited players outside of BAP mode. I used the live update last night and my Ever Banega went back to his original stats. No points to use in the edit player section, loading BAP with edited Banega and coming out of it doesnt work either. So obviously, you can use your edited stats for single player games after you achieve the captaincy of your club side. But if you update your game, you lose the edited stats. |
