The FINAL Top 100 Movies List

Yep, it's finally here.

But since we waited so long there's nothing wrong with a bit of suspense and there's nothing wrong with a bit of unnecessary amount of posts. So I'll be making a countdown presentation. Three films per week. I'm fairly sure we'll reach the top by december 2008.

So without further bollocks...

#100

Die Hard(John McTiernan, 88)

"Geronimo, Motherfucker!"

One of the action classics, made the list just because four poor feckers voted for it. And fair enough. The list needed some of the old school action crap. And there it is. Die Haaaard!

#99

Les Diaboliques(Henri-Georges Clouzot, 55)

Can't say that I'm a big fan but this film is intense like hell. Seems like it has influenced the horror and thriller genre more than any film ever did.
Thanks to four of our pretentious film buffs Les Diaboliques has made the list. It's probably Spoony's fault.

#98

Mean Streets(Martin Scorsese, 73)

Worth a watch apparently, there's female nudity in it. I'm not sure, never seen it but I found this quote. "Hey asshole, this is for you asshole! He's a fucking asshole! "
Sounds great.

to be continued...

#97

A Fistfull of Dollars(Sergio Leone, 64)

A man with no name (His name is Joe actually)...and a fuckin fistfull of dollars.
First of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns.

"Get three coffins ready...My mistake. Four coffins... "
Cool as fuck.

#96

Twelve Monkeys(Terry Gilliam, 95)

One of my personal favourites. Terry Gilliam's best film imo, it has time travel, monkeys, everything.
Crazy Brad Pittttt: "Wiping out the human race? That's a great idea. That's great. But more of a long-term thing. I mean, first we have to focus on more immediate goals. "

#95

Being John Malkovich(Spike Jonze, 99)

I don't have anything to say about this one. Or explain. It's just brilliant and I found out it wasn't on my list. Would've been higher if it was, but hey...I'm an idiot.
............

btw if some pictures don't appear, it's not my fault. It's spoony's.

#94

Gladiator(Ridley Scott, 00)

How this shite made the list I will never know.
Tried to watch it a couple of times...slept from minute 20 right to the melodramatic ending.
Maybe something is really wrong with me.

#93

Dog Day Afternoon(Sidney Lumet, 75)

Great, great film. (again not in my list, wtf?) Pacino's best role?

#92

Toy Story(John Lasseter, 95)

The only animation in the top 100. That says it all. (yes, as if we're some kind of great film critics )
hehe
Personal opinion: Shrek and The Incredibles aren't worse.
