Think I figured out how, anyone up for a network game? A few of us in a league as mid-table clubs

I found that after I installed the first patch, it seemed to eliminate the countless amounts of disallowed goals (I'm sure it did some other stuff, but that was the main one as far as game-play went.)

Would anyone mind zipping up all their addons....logos, kits, facepacks and the like....and hosting them somewhere please?

There are loads of them on sortitoutsi forums but they are all hosted on File-Front and using both FireFox & IE i always get an error saying about 'an invalid session set'.

Can't get my bloody game to work. Has the 8.0.2 patch and when i go to load it it just goes black and sits there.

Sorts out a couple of more bugs and adds the january transfers.

When I click 'Check for updates I get this from the site

'New version available
We've detected that a newer version is available from the Sports Interactive website.

However, we are unable to find the download in our database currently. Please try later!'

I also tried downloading one that was posted in here on rapidshare but it didn't work, I think its because it's for the Windows version and I have a Mac

If you're going to use the 8.0.2 database you have to start a new game.

Seems as though my 6 months of FM are up as i cant be botherd with it again.

I've also just noticed (as the new season has just rolled around again on my game) that it updates the new substitutes rule. You can now have 7 on the bench in the Prem, which is nice.

Approach to sign them when their contract has expired, or is close to expiring.

You can set your player search to look for those specifics.

But i meant a MUCH more in-depth manager game. If FM had that option, it would be the best football game ever in my opinion.

I would've thought Fifa Manager 08 would allow you to play matches, but it doesn't.

It would probably end up being to easy. That's what's great about FM, it's always going to challenge you.

Why don't a few of us start up a network game then? Pick middle table teams such as Villa, Pompey, Everton, Spurs, etc.. and see who does best.

its exactly the same for macs;

put images into Documents > Sports Interactive > FM08 > Then Graphics (you may need to create this yourself)

then make sure in FM under options > visual (?) that the 'skin cache' box is unticked - and the 'always Reload Skin On Confirm' box is ticked.
