FM08 is as unrealistic as you lot paying for a game.

League odds at start of season: $ki 7-4, dippers 2-1, Arse 5-2, United 6-1

Players unhappy because I said Keano could keep Sunderland up.
Some of the player stats are shocking. Or they would be if I didn't already know they're ridiculous every year. Could be bias but I feel we are always underrated.
Silvestre crossing = 11, Rio passing = 13, Gary passing = 13, Scholes crossing = 9 etc
Nani is rated more or less like an 18 year old Ronaldo except for his stupid physical stats.
Tevez is pissed off for no reason.
Dippers asking about Rio.
Players take long shots all the time even though I have nearly everyone set to "rarely".
Vidic is pissed off because I told Milan he wasn't for sale.

Arse trying to buy Ronny.
etc.
And the league hasn't even started. I hope they have fixed this in the full game (very unlikely though).

FM08 is just a better version of FM07. Slightly updated, with the correct history and player/clubs.

It's no different.

Only thing I miss is Genie Scout, since that hasn't been released yet. And when I play Football Manager I always cheat, because I can't bear to see United lose.

Finally ready to play this for the time, after tinkering with the database to produce hundreds and hundreds of uber youngsters. Hopefully it'll prevent the game just producing utter shite after a few seasons and spice everything up ...

CM 01/02 is the best. Mark Kerr from Falkirk, costs about £200,000 and becomes one of the best players in the game IMO.

CM01/02 is class....I thought FM07 was okay...got used to it and it was playable, I played FM08 for about two games and I am bored, it looks awful too (the skin or whatever)...poor...extremely poor...
