You're probably right. It's only the demo. Game and patches will fix it. Still won't be that hard being United.

I won't be buying anyone in the first transfer window. Might be tempted to throw in a bid for Sneijder but with a 21m budget you're not going to get much

I thought that too , I was messing around with the demo last night and bought a keeper, Victor on advise from my scouts.

Tevez transfer listed at the start of the game made me lol. As i'm not taking this United game seriously i've put in a £20 million bid which has been accepted.

Do any of you used the icons and facepacks you can get for FM.
I always use them I find it makes the games more playable.

Icons yes.

Faces, no. I turn them off entirely - especially as the game goes on and I'm working regens into the team it annoys the OCD in me to have half the team with pics and half without (I also turn off the rubbish computer gen faces)

Beginning to get the bug for this game again with the demo. 5 games into the season with Fiorentina as we speak and 5 wins in 5 beating both Lazio and udinese away in the league 1-0 and 3-0 respectively. No goals conceded and 11 scored.

Jovetic has been phenomenal so far as has montolivio.

I've just played Everton 5 times in 28 days, the most ridiculous stretch of games I've had since I started playing this game around 2004's version.

Feb 15: Everton - 5th rd FA Cup
Feb 18: AZ Alkmaar - Europa League 1st Knockout Round 1st leg
Feb 24: Everton - Premier League
Feb 27: AZ Alkmaar - Europa League 1st Knockout Round 2nd leg
Mar 7: Everton - 5th rd FA Cup replay
Mar 13: Everton - Europa League 2nd Knockout Round 1st leg
Mar 18: Everton - Europa League 2nd Knockout Round 2nd leg

Knocked me out of the FA Cup in the replay, drew in the league and twatted them 6-1 over two legs in Europe.

Anyone else find the demo (as Utd at least) far too easy?

Reached the end of the demo with a record of 1 defeat (on penalties in the Community Shield), 1 draw (playing a reserves and kids away to some Russian side in Europe) and I've won every other match. I've hammered Liverpool 7-0, Chelsea 5-1 and have been averaging over 5 goals a game in the league. I've also done that while rotating players a lot (literally, I've rotated every position game in game out). I'd like to believe I', just an amazing manager but all I've really done is play an attacking 4-4-2 and been encouraging a lot in team talks

Reminds me a bit of FM2010 (I think) where Arsenal were intially massively over-rated and were almost unbeatable until they released the first patch

Didn't play FM11, last one I played was 2010. I played the 12 Demo as Lille and really enjoyed it.

Is anyone aware of face and logo packs that might be good to go as soon as the game launches?

Also, does anyone end up releasing some modded database where the leagues to which they don't own rights get the proper names, like Premier League as opposed to Premier Division?

FM 10 was the only one that took absolute ages to crack. I expect this to be cracked and ready in 24 hours tops.

They have done a pretty good job of keeping the pirates at bay before release this year, its inevitable though.

Didn't they have issues with that before in 2009? You had guys on pirated copies playing before the ones that purchased it because the activation was broken.
