Gladiators - The new series.

The new team of Gladiators has been unveiled.

The 12 warriors include model and British bobsleigher Caroline Pearce, or Ice, and former Olympic athlete Du'aine Ladejo, who will be Predator.

The others include bodybuilders Sam Bond and Damar Martin (Atlas and Destroyer) and serving Royal Marine David McIntosh, or Tornado.

The show is back next month with presenters Kirsty Gallacher and ex-Arsenal striker Ian Wright.

Original referee John Anderson also returns to the show which will now be broadcast on Sky One.

The programme originally ran from 1992 to 2000 on ITV.

It was presented by former weather presenter Ulrika Jonsson and ex-footballer John Fashanu.

Thirty-two contenders will compete for a £50,000 prize and will take on challenges like the joust, the wall, hang tough and the eliminator.

Ah , only go in the General every now and then.

Although if they don't move it in here, could always use this one as a regular place to refer to once the series begins, have to see.

Thought it was class tbh.

They've spruced it up a bit, given it a modern look.

Was ok.

Arena was shit, far too small not enough people.

Kinda like the idea of replacing the crash mats with water.

The guys aren't as tonk as they were in the old ones though, makes them seem more normal which isn't cool.

The gladiators just destroyed them, apart from one event. Was a good start to the series, hopefully there will be better contenders in the future who dont get squashed quite so easily.

Both the guys were defeated in duel in just 2 hits each.

I thought it was class. The revamp looks a lot better and it was pretty entertaining.

Looks like Oblivion is the new Wolf.

Aye. Need more of an audience there.

The Gladiators need to get on the juice because they look like normal lads off the street.

I watched it for 20 mins and got bored.
