Magnificent - can't wait.

Had a feeling it was going to be a special year.

I will be there on Wednesday, Hitchin hill all the way.

Hitchin Hill is right at the top of the site. Seems to be quite a long way from the action.

I normally camp at Park Home (across from the other stage) but am going to try Kidney Mead this time.

Park home ey...

Is that your advice?

I might try and get in there - up at the crack of dawn, i will be there by 8, hopefully.

What time are you heading down?

What are you taking with you? Smoke, berries, charlie etc

We always try to get on Pennards Hill I think that's the best place to camp. Provided your not at the bottom of course! Don't think we're gonna get there early enough tomorrow though so might try somewhere else. Can't wait now!

Depends what you want. Camp near a stage if you want to watch music from your tent, or camp near the fence if you want somewhere quiet.

I would say though that its best to be away from places where loads of people are walking past all the time.

Park Home is good, i have camped there 3 times. Good access for the Other stage and dance area. Im trying kidney mead this year.

If you want to camp in a specific place, make sure you park in a car park on the same side - its a long hike from east to west.

If your getting there tmrw morning, you will have the choice of where to camp. Im getting there thursday afternoon, but my mates are pitching my tent tmrw.

Make sure you stash your stuff
on the way in. Inside a jar of coffee seems to do the trick!!!

If you get there before around 2-3pm you'll get a spot on Pennards. The atmosphere is great on there and it's pretty close to everything, in particular the stone circle. I tried to do the waiting up till sunset at the stone circle last year but I thought I was gonna freeze to death! As for drugs what I normally do it wrap them up in few layers of cling film and bury them at the bottom of a pot of hair gel. Not see through stuff though obviously! If your using a jar of coffee make sure it's plastic there's a glass ban.

I have:

- An eighth of charlie

- 1g of MDMA

- 10 beans

- 1/4 of skunk

- 40 hash cakes

- 50g of tobacco

- 5 litres of red wine

- 1 bottle of Johnny Walkers (Black label)

- Lots of food, drink etc

Now all i need is some acid.

Would it be best to pitch near the stone circle for my last quest?

We're about to have the JayZ wankfest on the Beeb and the far superior Massive Attack will be given about two songs if past BBC coverage is anything to go by (they are headlining the Other Stage btw).

Got Buddy Guy on, Jay Z'ed can fuck off. Only highlight so far was MGMT last night, Amy Winehouse off her tits, and some of the lesser well known acts.

Was listening to some of it before - Tim Westwood on Radio 1 - "FALL BACKK"

They had a small interview with Noel Gallagher and he was very anti Jay-Z. His first song then proceeded to be Wonderwall - nice touch

To be fair he's been quite good so far.

Still fuming at not seeing any Massive Attack though, they're a fucking quality band and fairly amazing live too, we're missing a treat.

They do this to me every fecking year, every band I really want to see they show the other.

Jay-z has been quality, especially remixing songs from amy winehouse, punjabi mc etc, its a nice touch. He is a very good entertainer especially for hip hop fans like myself.

Respect to Jay-Z. Heard he was fantastic yesterday. Gallagher must feel stupid now.

To be fair Gallagher hardly made a big fuss. He was asked a question and gave a simple answer. I doubt he is feeling stupid at all really.

Send a message via MSN to vanthaman
i reckon gallagher would find what jay z did funny,

jay z could have atleast learnt the words tho and sung it properly without having the oasis vocals on it

I love Gallaghers outspoken character & like RedLambs pointed out he was asked a question & he answered it honestly. However claiming Hip-Hop has no place at Glastonbury is a little blinkered, if you would have said the same thing about Indie music when Punk was big, maybe it would have put a few bands off?

Besides, Shirley Bassey played last year, where was her Guitar?

I don't think it was blinkered really, I agree. I was at reading in 2000 when Eminem was high up the bill on Sunday night and they introduced the dance tent.

Crime went through the roof and the atmosphere was fucking rotten. Now I don't know about the atmosphere at Glastonbury this year, but hasn't crime shot up drastically?
