Apparently a lot of peoples games have been freezing up and they're unable to play.

Rockstar are working on fixing it.

Mines been fine *touch wood* and the online has been fine for me too.

Fucking loving it boys. The characters are so unique, the story mode is that of a movie, and the sound track is class.

Also I got laid on only the second date with my first lady friend! (Not a tranny, though I'm keeping my eyes peeled.)

It turned out that the CD with the game had scratches all over, and became unreadable at some point. I need to take it to the store today and they will apparently replace it with a new one.

It does come across as not being the smoothest at certain times. Maybe they will do a downloadable patch ala PES.

But the vast majority is fantastic I found the mutilplayer to be a bit glitchy but not bad considering it only out and the masses will be hopping off it for a few days

Woohoo (homer), gamestation had a couple of copies left, im £44.50 poorer (who cares) and one copy of GTA IV richer!

For the first five or ten minutes I wasn't really impressed with it. It felt kind of like San Andreas all over again.

then, I gave in to temptation and ran over a pedestrian and all of the fun came flooding back. woo hoo!

I love it!

The point is, these things shouldn't have these glitches and require patching. If they playtested it and knew that these problems existed, then they should have put the release day back.

Very true Weaste same goes for PES. Sadly they dont think like that, they just say right its good enough get it out there, get the money into our pockets and we will look at sorting those problems in our own time.

Shame really, as they are small things that could make the overall game fuckin immense even though its pretty good already

Assasin's Creed for PS3 being the best example of this. I love that game but it's freezing at times is atrocious. 4 times in 15 minutes once for me. I didn't play it for weeks after that.

Every piece of software has bugs, that's a given, games freezing on a regular basis and trees appearing out of nowhere however should have already been dealt with.

Anyone a little disappointed with the graphics? Dont know how to describe it, but some of the edges of buildings look fuzzy.

Also, the back of the box says its 1080p and my TV is displaying it in 720. I have a ps3 and 1080p 40" bravia.

Talk to your TV gaffs its your only hope

In all honesty I am quite happy with the graphics it will be interesting to see if any sort of firmware patch becomes available for download which might aid in the frame issues of the odd glitch
