Knew i should have pre-ordered this the 100 times i considered it but changed my mind, simply because i couldn't be bothered to enter in my card details at the time. I've noticed it's only £35 on Amazon though, but what are they like for delivery? Would i get it the day before release like most sites? Or would i even get it the day of release?

Dunno about Amazon but Play are poor for receiving it on release day

GAME say they'll deliver it by release day so theres a chance it'll drop the day before

In my opinion Amazon are as good, if not better than almost all internet shopping sites.

No point ordering it online from the big companies (Amazon, Play, GAME, Gamestation etc...)

You won't get it on the day of release unless you pre-ordered it a while back.

Wish i fucking pre-ordered mine last year! I just couldn't be arsed at the time.

Okay, another question. Even though Game can't guarantee release date delivery if you pre-order online, would there be any chance of getting it from the store the next day? I live like 5 minutes away from GAME since i live in the middle of town, so i could easily get up early on day of release.

There's a couple on eBay guranteeing delivery for launch day.

Apperently, GAME stores are still taking pre-orders, so i'll just pop over tomorrow and pre-order it and then just go for the midnight launch or something. (We did it for Halo 3. Living in town is quite handy for this, because we just spent the night at the pub then strolled over to GAME at about 5 to midnight for the launch.)

And i have no idea why i just didn't do this in the beginning, since all i had to do is walk in and let them swipe my reward card. I'll pre-order MGS 4 as well i think so that my lazyness doesn't tuck me up again.

Seriosuly, does it really matter if you get it afew days after the release date? I haven't pre-ordered it, I will probably just go into Zavvi one day and pick it up when I can be arsed. Same as I did with COD4 and pretty much every other game.

I ordered the ps3 special edition from amazon - £59.99.

If the bag, box etc are crap, then i will stick them on ebay.

I have £12.55 on my reward card. The plan is to not spend any of it untill the PS4 comes out, that way I get it free
