I wish they had achievements on PS3.
PS3 has them, they are called accomplishments.

That one was a bastard to get under.

There's a website in-game which shows you where all the pigeons are, but it's better to just print a guide off.

Orite. i think i know the one. I saw it and thought, na no chance of fitting a helicopter under there. Is it a road, and its the same height as the road next to it?

Yes that's the one, there's probably only a few inches gap bigger than the helicopter, have to go very slowly...

This really is gaming heaven. GTA and MGS will for me always be a little more than the usual definition of games. They capture you into their worlds and characters unlike the rest. Gears of war, for example, looked amazing, played amazing and was lots of fun. But it never made me think, i never felt right there at the scene of things. For me these two games are more than that.
I look forward to GTA more than i would with my favourate movie usually, its an experience.

Off to kill more people, er or back to work.

When I said that it had them, I meant that it had the functionality in the firmware for them, I didn't mean that all games supported them. XMB will have them soon.

Sony's philosophy has always been that it's up to the developer of the game. Custom soundtracks, ingame invites, etc. they are all in the firmware, and some games do use them. This will all probably change with the release of Home.

Burnout for example gives you the choice to play a custom soundtrack.

I would like one central place where I can store all my achievements.

I believe Home will have a trophy room. Will there also be points available for each game and a points total?

Should be. If there is anything they should take from the 360 it's the quality of the online service. Small things like achievements, being able to set up private channels to speak to friends even if you are playing different games etc. If they can adapt some of the LIVE features into Home, then it would be the total package.

Therein lies one of Sony's weaknesses, they have little foresight into these things.

I used to be fully SOny but there is no denying the quality of Live... that being said, I still think the Sony system will catch up and surpass Xbox in the not too distant future...

I don't really care as I have both

NOTE: Do any of you play online, I feel a caf party is in order.... come on cnuts?

Has anyone figured out how to shag Kate? Everytime I date her she says she's not impressed with my shoes. Which shoes do I wear?

Fuck her, I mean - not like that, just ignore her and shag a hooker instead.

This has been shite. Got caught in the hype, bought it, played it for two days convincing myself I'm enjoying this, quit the single player (convincing myself I'm just 'taking a break' from it, only to never get back) and thought online multiplayer is where it's at, that got boring after 3 days as well, never touched it again.

the stoyline is far too short. theres only 54 missions overall. far better than the last game but stroyline is just too short.
