I think it was a fantastic game, not as good as some of its predecessors, but still very very good. In fact, I would play it over MSG4 anyday.

Brilliant game, it's just a shame it has no replay value to me since i completed it. I can't remember the last time i played it.

I've highlighted that last bit because it's something that sums up the whole game for me. GTA4 is a better "experience" than it is a game, as far as I'm concerned. So you can go through a carwash? Wow!!! How fucking pointless.

Just getting in a car and driving around can be mildly enjoyable, I'll admit (as long as a decent tune comes on the radio - which isn't very often), but the missions are uninspired, boring and - as you get towards the end - just plain repetitive.

It is a very superficial game, with nothing remotely interesting to do, except finish it. Because then you can go and play something more enjoyable...

Well, I've played and completed San Andreas 4 times, (I think) because it was pretty good. I hope it's atleast that good.

I think the problem for me was that my expectations were a bit too high. There certainly isn't as much to do as in San Andreas, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. But it just feels a bit unfinished, somehow.

The thing that pissed me off the most though, was the fact that there's no 80's radio station!

San Andreas was much better I think ,I mean the gfx look great and all but the game was weak. Not enough content as far I was concerned

Yeah, that's probably how everyone felt... Not sure why though, this was never the case with any of the previous GTA's.
