If we're talking about only 3 shows... Lost is the best.

And yeah... 24 is the only one who can be better than Lost, right now.

But I don't like to compare 24 and Lost... both excellent shows with excellent actors.

I have actually never seen any of the other 3 shows, I just know I will be disappointed because nothing will ever beat 24. Ever!

7th season on the way... It's really impressive number of season for a TV show.

I hope Sutherland as the producer, will push the events of 24 to nine or ten seasons, like it was in X-Files or Stargate SG-1.

Only seen Lost, which imo is one of the best shows on TV - Heroes looks good too. Prison Break looks a bit macho / gay.

It is actually into its 7th Season in January, before which there is a movie If you do watch, you HAVE to start from Season 1, sarting from any of the others would be foolish!

24 rocks. And The Shield too.

Lost and Heroes are a little bit like a fairytale, but still good series and I totaly love movies/series/books from prison environment so I like that one too.

I know what you mean. Getting through 6 seasons would be a mission though!

They've been taking us around in circles the past few seasons though. WHich makes heroes even more appealing until the writers fucked it all up

Can you explain the plot in a nutshell? It seems there are only so many times you can break out of prison before the staff work out you are trouble and make it impossible for you to escape

I started watching the 1st season of 24. It got very tiring and boring, so I returned it to my mate from whom I borrowed it. I wasn't impressed at all.

EDIT: ...and this comes from someone who managed to sit through Citizen Kane

Season 1 was brilliant, finished it in 3 days. How far did you watch?

******************SPOILER ALERT*******************

Bauer was infiltrating the bad guys campsite, where they held his wife and daughter. I saw him get them released. Come to think of it, I might have watched the whole thing.

Anyway... the guys on this forum hyped it so much, that it was bound to fail with me. I was practically shaking when I put it on. I was even holding the cover in awe...

Dude... don't listen to the hype.

You should really give another try on 24.

I am sure I will. I really do think it must be a great show, ironically based on the hype, but when I do give it another shot, it will be without the big expectations because of the disappointment of the first season. If you know what I mean...

it's a win win situation to give it another go

24, Heroes, The Unit, Prison Break and Jericho are all great TV shows with their own outstanding qualities, Lost i found great up until the end of season 2, at which point i just wished they'd get found and fuck the show off, no such luck though

So you don't like when people tells you that 24 is a wonderful show... so I'll tell you what:

24 is a feckin disgraceful show and Kiefer Sutherland is drunk all the time... now you have to watch it.

The Unit.

I've heard it's a very good show.

I find it very difficult to seperate 24, Prison Break and Heroes.
Prison Break is probably my personal favourite but there is very little between them.
