Thought the season 1 of 24 was a bit crap compared to the rest tbh. Seasons 2/3/4/5 were immense. Maybe start at season 2 if you do give it another try, don't think you'll be disappointed.

The Wire, Dexter, Lost, 24 are the shows I watch regularly. All great show usually.

Never seen Prison Break, not sure why.

I'm watching 6th season of 24, now... It's not that bad as people say, it's really good.

Jack has cool scars.

What episode you upto? Don't understand why Season 6 got a lot of the criticism it did, still a very good season and still a lot better than most TV shows that are on.

I must say, I'm really surprised how action accelerated right from beginning of this season.

Great action, but I miss some characters from previous seasons.

There are some excellent episodes to come! Personally I think they have killed of they majority of the cast at the right time. (SPOILERS!!) David Palmer had run his character, he was no longer President and considering the season takes place over a day, I don't see how he could have kept coming back without diminishing his character. Same with Tony & Michelle (Although we now know Tony is back), they had retired from CTU so there was no need for them anymore. Just so long as they don't get rid of Jack, Chloe and Buchanan, I'll be happy (I must say though I was disappointed when they killed of Edgar, was a very good character IMO)

Indeed. Edgar was great and he loved his mother... I was really sad when gas killed him. Awful death.

Tony & Michelle were great partners and it happened so fast... bomb kills Michelle and right after few episodes, Tony dies in CTU building.

Death of Chappelle (CTU former boss) was the most shocking... Jack executing him in front of terrorists. That was crazy !

The whole series showing that war with terrorism takes many casulties, many great characters died already and I think Jack's violent methods are the right thing in the end, when you have to deal with terrorists.

SPOLIERS

Ryan Chapelle, hated him all the way upto that episode, then you couldn't help but feel sorry for him.

Edgar was brilliant like you said, when Chloe got that picture at the end of Season 5. They were great together!

Agree about Jack's methods, there is no other way with these kinds of people. It's a fucking great series and can't wait for Season 7. (Or the movie prior to that)

I was thinking about that yesterday when I watched Rambo 4... That are some of the best moments of 24.

I fucking love 24.. Seen obviously every single episode of it..

Seen only season 1 of Prison Break, was good, but still very predictable at times..Nothing close to 24 though..

However people..I say it again for those of you who haven't seen it..

The Shield...Takes a few episodes to get into but FUCKING HELL..Love it..
However you HAVE to watch it from Season 1, episode 1.

And as much as I love 24,

I've never even seen or heard of the Shield, without ruining any of the plots, what is it actually about? Is it similar to 24?

That "no-one" is called Vic Mackey, the main character from the Shield. Plus he is more real. Basically a dirty cop but he has a results.

Its great up to the last 4 or 5 episodes. Once your finished i'd be interested to hear what you thought of it.
