Luck (HBO)
Has anybody watched it?
It looks promising with an interesting premise and a very good cast. Luck trailer HBO - YouTube |

Agreed, I really enjoyed it too. Was a bit ambiguous though or maybe I was too tired to be paying full attention....but Milch has been a bit ambiguous so I doubt it. I was a fan of John From Cincinnati also, so I'm glad he's back and all, just hope this one gets a full run unlike his previous two

Well Deadwood got a season 2 quickly too....this has more firepower to it than JFC did, so would have to flop big time not to get renewed once or twice. I mean I hope he gets to tell his full story, the ending to Deadwood is one of the biggest disappointments in tv history imo.
Still great news! |

For me Boardwalk never quite got to the usual heights I would expect of HBO. It was worth watching and all, but compared to the likes of Oz, Sopranos, Game of Thrones... Even True Blood, it was pretty weak.

Me too, even though have the time i have no idea whats going on. Have to get used to all this betting and horse terminology, but I'm rvieted. I also like the waythey go ointo that almost shakespearean style of dialogue at times, just like deadwood.

Didn't 5 horses die in a single day at Cheltenham yesterday? Perhaps they should ban racing too?!?
Anyway, it's a shame - just thought it started to get going a bit. Now it makes me want to stop watching it - it'll no doubt end with some unresolved 'cliffhanger'. |
