Mark Lanegan
Any fans on here?
I'm not really into the whole singer/songwriter thing, but Lanegan is a badass. I've been listening back to some of his solo work and it's really good stuff. Field Songs and Whiskey for the Holy Ghost being standouts.

In case anyone's interested, he's got a new album called 'Blues Funeral' coming out in 2 weeks.

Mojo gave it 5 stars (no idea how reliable they are).

I gave the new album a listen last night. It's damn good.

Don't know if it'll win over anyone who wasn't into him before, but it's a very good record.
