Yeah I bought the Samsung. I have it in 1080 at the moment and the display is beautiful.

I prefer my icons small, I dislike massive resolutions.

Bought it from Scan in the end. Got some goodwill from them from the problems I had with my PSU. I had an adapter anyway so that's sat on it at the moment.

Sounds good. Dunno, I haven't used a monitor in years now. Before my LED I have a Samsung 24" which was pretty good, though I didn't like it in full HD. I suppose monitors are more built for full HD than TVs of that size.

Get a refurbished monitor!

I got this Dell u2410 IPS monitor, which retails for £400 and is reviewed by many the best 24inch monitor available, for £200 delivered. All because it was returned by the original buyer because it had 1 red dot stuck pixel, which im still yet to even notice after 3 months of use. Usually the refurbished monitors end up on Ebay from specialised sellers offering the same standard 1yr warranty.

I've been using 2 monitors for my desktop (one's a Sony, other a Samsung)..
Do you lot reckon 2 monitors better than a single wide-screen monitor?

I have 2 screens. It's good when you want to keep windows seperate even though windows 7 has that snap function but it squashes it up though.
