I don't think it is.

Been playing both demos for the last couple of days and have come to the following conclusion.

The latest FIFA is superior to the latest Pro Evo in almost every way possible - graphics, animation, sound, AI, licensing etc. - except for game-play. Pro Evo is quicker, crisper, paced much more like a real game of football and is basically more fun to play. Unfortunately, it's got a list of flaws as long as my arm, which is a crying shame.

To sum up, FIFA is almost perfect and they've made a bit of a bollox of the latest Pro Evo. But if you absolutely had to buy one of them, it ain't FIFA.

IMVHO of course.

I actually think PES's graphics and player likeness looks better than FIFA this time.

One thing that has started to annoy me in the Pro Evo demo is the crowd chants. The 'United' & 'Champions' chants make me want to bang my head against a wall. The chants were something I was impressed with during the FIFA demo.

Dunno about graphics, that's pretty close, but the FIFA players move more like real people.

Pro Evo has some nice touches (the way Ronaldo runs, his stop-start penalty) but I would say FIFA definitely looks better. Pity it's so sluggish to play.

It's pretty much been like that the last few years... style=fifa, substance=pes...

I'll probably get both again but I only really play PES. I hope to god that PES gets back to the level of that PES5 peak

So far haven't played this new demo enough to have a solid opinion...
