Good man.
I still refer to my Assassin's Creed comment. Have you ever played such a non-game? I mean I've played some awful shit in my life, but at least most of them had some gameplay! |

I picked the system up today with Assasins Creed, Oblivion, Def Jam Icon, Uncharted, Tony Hawk, Euro 2008, Madden 08, some baseball and some college basketball (they were $15 each, the sports games and Madden). Ill be going online sometime soon, what are you guys playing online usually? (read: what should I buy next)

metal gear solid online would be a good choice, also look in the bargain section for a few earlier releases like R:FOM, you'll be playing quite a bit of COD4 online i'd imagine as it's ace.
oh and i got uncharted today, fucking brilliant game, can't think of anything of it's type like that for ages and ages. are the new tomb raiders anywhere near this good? |

Damn, the UEFA Euro 2008 is amazing. It's probably the same as FIFA except with less teams in it, but they didn't have FIFA at store so I bought it instead. The only flaw is that I cannot find any online leagues, so I'm stuck with ranked games or multiplayer.
Tony Hawk Project 8 is pretty good too, although I've only played a few minutes. The first impression with Def Jam Icon is that it's kind of boring, but I will probably like it at another try. Madden 08 is fine, I've played a game with my brother and it's a typical Madden except for punting, which is a complete nonsense in this edition. The college basketball is great for multiplayer. I've had only one race on Gran Turismo 5 so far, bought a Mini Cooper, the graphics are absolutely fantastic. I haven't played the rest so far. I will try baseball tomorrow, possibly one of Uncharted, Assasins Creed and Oblivion as well but I'm definitely not playing them all at once, I will begin another one only after finishing a considerable part of the previous, don't want to spoil the fun. The good part of it all is that I got a PS3 system with 10 games for less than I'd pay for a hardware alone in Poland. Great pricing, I'll probably buy MGS4, Resistance and something else in the next few days. |

Still not sure what consoles they are going to be released on but there is a TimeSplitters 4 in the works. Will most probably come to all 3.

the orange box is an absolute must, the half life trilogy is a genuine shout for best game ever imo and add to that the simply brilliant Portal and you can't go wrong
if you liked Tony Hawk you should give Skate a go. It will take some getting used to if you're a seasoned tony hawk player but its far far deeper and better imo Oblivion is great but too much for some, you could litterally play it for the rest of your life. probably MGS4 -typical MGS, which is a good thing right? GTA4 - typical GTA, which is a good thing right? oh, and every man on this earth should own everybodys golf: world tour |

For racers: F1, DiRT, GRID (I didn't like the demo, handling of the cars for me was way off what I'm used to), Motorstorm, Burnout (not a classic racer), Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli (not tried it yet myself but I like the lok of it), Ridge Racer 7, and of course the imminent release of WipeOut HD.

F1 is good played it on me mates PS3 but takes a lot of getting use to!
DIRT was class, great fun and loads of different types of rally racing. GRID is more of the same but loads of types of road racing instead. I agree with Weaste to a point that it is hard to get use to, but once you do its great its more realistic I'd say. Had ago on Motorstorm wasn't my cup of tea really, not played the rest though. |

Warhawk
Motorstorm Metal Gear Solid 4 Pro Evo 2008 Tekken DR Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction Those are the games I've played the most since getting my PS3. Warhawk is the game I keep going back to even though its one of the first I got, I really enjoy it. Oh and despite what people may say get Super Rub'a'Dub because I did some work on that :P |

Then you get games like this, 1080p and 60fps that are only ever released in Japan. Why do they do this? They could at least stick in on the PSN and earn some cash...
