I've been on a run lately in Ultimate Team where I'm constantly getting spanked, literally game after game would be 4-0, 5-1 etc for about a whole week not so long ago (during my last FIFA phase) and it led me to believe that I'm not very good! Maybe I was just in an unlucky phase, but I'd guess that I am indeed that bad and that Lynk was just so drunk/hungover/sleepy that he needed a 90th minute goal to get the inevitable win!

Well it certainly didn't look like one! I normally hate losing to a 90th minute goal, but when it was as well taken as that, there's not much you can do

Honestly, that period of domination you had after the subs had me absolutely cacking it. Every pass/punt out of the box I tried went straight back to you!

Oh, what do we do in the event of a draw? Leave it as one after 90 mins, play ET etc?

Oh yeah forgot to say about that. The score at the end of 90 minutes counts, with it being a league 'n all.

Thought so, just had to make sure. I think we should play through till the end anyway, if only for bragging rights

With that, I'm going to bed. I'll lost to some more of you tomorrow!

When you play an online friendly a draw is a draw. Are you people creating custom matches and then pick play a friend? Online friendly stuff is easier. It also keeps tabs on your record vs each individual

You can do that, or go to EA sports arena and meet up in a lobby. That will ensure its ranked as online friendly squads may be modified unintentionally, VP's etc. But yeah, online friendlies finish at 90 minutes whereas the lobby games play till penalties. Not that it matters, you just post in here the score at the end of normal time.

Probably better for me. Like I mentioned here above your post there's this glitch in online friendly mode when I play. I doesn't happen in H2H season matches.

Lynk (Atletico Madrid) 2 - 1 Snow (Angzhi Ma.)

Close game, Snow got off to a stormer and tore my defense a new one with the opener. I got another jammy late winner with Falcao who was driving me mad

Don't mean to sound like a dick but I didn't think this was a proper game. I wouldn't have picked Anzhi if it were. But alright then.

Don't want to kick up a fuzz though so just make it count.

So can I. Anyone who wants to play in Group A add Damien1990UK on PSN and send me a PM or something on the caf. I'll be available pretty much all afternoon. Can't say that I'll be very good at this though, not played FIFA properly in a while.

I thought you did much better in the second half tbh. Could've had a few, twas a good game though. Suarez and Forlan are lethal.

Haven't played the game properly for a while and it showed. Yeah, I think I did a bit better in the second half too and it was a good game. You had too much for me. Game was pretty much over at half time when it was 5-0. Onwards and upwards hopefully

Got everyone in Group A added apart from Wayne Rooney who had reached his friend limit.

Good game, Ed. Was very tight. Just broke-away towards the end to get the 2nd and the 3rd was lucky.

Good game mate, thought I was going to hang on for a 1-1 for much of that second half, apologies for the delays on replays etc. (you'll see why in the spoiler)

Wayne_Rooney (CSKA Moscow) 3-1 EdWeatherall (Sporting Lisbon)

Spoiler
The game started off as it would carry on, with CSKA seeing a lot of the ball and struggling to get through the two deep lines that Sporting had, the first real moment of intrigue was a possible penalty shout for CSKA, the ref saw little and play continued

The first real opportunity came for Sporting as they benefitted from a wild pass, which went out from a corner, but little came from the set-piece

The first goal came from a mazy dribble by Tosic, picking it up on the right touchline and instantly moving towards the goal, and once he got in the box he became even harder to tackle, so scared were the Sporting defenders of giving away a penalty and then came an unstoppable shot into the top left corner with his sweet left foot. 1-0.

Almost instantly the old adage was proved true, that you are at your most vulernable after you have scored as Sporting Lisbon worked the ball up field and into the area with Izmailov, who appeared to be tackled - but great determination saw him recover the ball and have a 2v1 with the GK, surely he'd pass? No! He took a shot, which was expertly saved by the 'keeper, but alas to no avail, as Izmailov was able to head in the rebound. 1-1

HT

The second half began in similar fashion to the first, CSKA through Vagner Love looking to break down the stubborn defence of Sporting, and it was Vagner Love who went closest first, firing a shot towards the bottom corner but at the last minute was tipped round the post

Later in the game, Sporting were able to have some joy with Jeffren down the right after a missed tackle by the LB and he got into a position to cross, and van Wolfswinkel headed over when a goal seemed likely.

And he was to pay for this miss as moments later, a long ball was played forward to Love who accelerated past defenders and fired a shot low into the near post, beating the GK. 2-1. Twice Rui Patricio had been beaten at his near post.

And as Sporting ultimately had to throw more men forward, a third goal followed. CSKA won a corner after a cross was blocked from behind, and from the resulting corner, Brezutskiy challenged for the header and the ball fell kindly for him to place one low in off the far post for the clinching goal. 3-1.

FT
