Bat For Lashes - Fur and Gold

Bat For Lashes is the work of British singer/songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and visual artist Natasha Khan. Born in 1979, yet combining influences that span decades, Natasha’s work dwells in the elemental, emerging in timeless forms.

Sounding like a cross between Bjork, Beth Gibbons, Kate Bush and Liz Fraser this is the debut album from this songstress and currently can be seen on a support tour with Radiohead (how I came across her).

Music fans of any ilk should find beauty in this, do yourselves a favour and have a listen, I'm giving it a nine out of ten for now.

Actually i changed my mind after listening to it. Its quite good, nice and eerie. Does sound a lot like Bjork.
