The thing is... Coldplay's songs do seem a bit boring at first (well not the songs like Yellow, Clocks, Scientist etc), even I thought that and especially with the latest album. My first thought with X&Y was, "what the heck, this was some boring shit!". But I just kept on listening to it and after 2-3 times I started to like it more and more and after a while I loved it. They really are a band that growes on you and I'm 100% that even you, the only man who hates Coldplay more then the Oasis brothers would like some of their songs if you just gave them a couple of listens
