One of the best episodes last night. Loved it.

The scenery as with these specials were just absolutely stunning. And fuck me was the death road scary, wouldn't like to be in Clarkson's position in my life

That episode was fantastic, watching it in HD the scenery was just unreal. The part where they were going to over 16000 feet was insane, they all looked like they were going to pass out any second.

Top Gear also won channel 4's award for "Best TV Show of the Noughties", they weren't sure how.

The specials are usually just brilliant. It's just a shame the normal shows aren't as good anymore.

This series' episodes have been torrented in 720p. It takes 2x as long to watch them, but well worth it. If you are into that sort of thing I mean. Luckily I am not.

Anyone catch a glimpse of that not ugly at all woman behind Clarkson during the star in a reasonably priced card segment? Nice looking lady.

I read an article/forum post once about a guy that went to the live filmings. Apparently they deliberately move all of the attractive women closer to the front.

Surely fake. They had a close up of it at a funny angle and a zoomed out shot at a different angle with no cameramen in sight. That car looked like a rental too, probs the filming car.
I did enjoy the special but I wouldn't put anything past them as being fake. They don't even try to pretend the 'oops left the handbrake off for the tenth time' jokes are real anymore.

I'm quite sceptical, so I believe most of the stuff they do is fake.

Even if it was set up though, driving that close to a million foot drop on a broken track of a road would still be shittifying.

Oh yeah no doubt. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't Clarkson in the car though 'cause you could never see how close he was to the side at the same time you could see his face. Or maybe the previous heavily scripted episodes have just made me overly skeptical.
