LCD Soundsystem vs Franz Ferdinand - All My Friends

LCD Soundsystem vs John Cale - All My Friends

two quality versions of a quality tune, the John Cale version being the slightly better one

for the metal crowd, check out Opeth's Ghost Reveries.

Try Reverie/Harlequin Forest, The Baying of the Hounds and The Grand Conjuration.

Oh and btw Dave Mustaine is a bitch.

Ladytron - Evil
Muse - Recess
Kaiser Chiefs - The Angry Mob
Air - Cherry Blossom Girl
Interpol - PDA

Avril Lavigne - Imagine

Not as good as the original but it's good to hear her singing in a lower pitch again.

Maybe i should've put it in the 'songs you like but shouldn't' thread.

Yea, it's a John Lennon cover, from the Instant Karma: The Campaign To Save Darfur album. Had it on late last night, found this version of the song quite soothing.

Oooo I wanted to get that album actually! I had a look at the track listing the other day (after Greenday performed Working Class Hero I think it was on American Idol - which was pretty boring live TBH).

Anyway, the track listing seemed pretty good - some interesting choice of covers for certain artists.
