experienced players can do it in about a month or two

a raw noob it would probably take 3-4?

not to say leveling up isnt fun especially if its your first time but the once you max out your levels there is alot of stuff to do (they put most of their programming effort into the level 70 dungeons)

An absolute classic game of a game.

I will certainly be busting it out - along with the two other best games to ever be created: Heroes of Might and Magic III, & Age of Empires II - over the holidays.

I haven't played for a year, but two days ago I sat there with my debit card about to buy a months worth of playing. Hesitated, then changed my mind when I remembered what cunts other players are. Another time maybe.

Woah woah. Can someone explain the concept of the game to me. I played it for roughly 10 mins, it all looked a bit bright and boxy so i gave up.

Is it like pokemon cross's runescape. You go round training you dude up by fighting?

Are there people willing to buy accounts? How much can you sell them for?

The general concept is that you pick a certain archetype (.e.g a warrior that takes damage, or a priest that heals friendly players). You level up your character by gaining 'experience points' - when you have enough experience points you gain a level. You gain experience points by either killing 'mobs' (i.e. in-game creatures or characters) or by doing a whole range of quests which usually require you to kill an x number of things or deliver something, all in exchange for a reward along with experience points.

As you level up, your archetype will become increasingly stronger (i.e. warrior will take MORE damage, priest will be able to heal more) and have access to more abilities. You level up until reaching the level cap at level 70 in which you can participate in the other various activities entitled to you.

Activities include crafting items such as weapons, gems, armour or potions; taking part in large multiplayer battles in 'battlegrounds' as well as taking part in gladiator-style arena battles for rewards. Alternatively you could wish to group up with a bunch of other high level players to take part in expeditions known as 'dungeon raids', where you are often part of a large group, which has to work together to fight their way through a dungeon, killing bosses and picking up many great rewards. These require alot of teamwork to be successful - i.e. the warrior must keep enemies concentrated on him, while the priest heals him, while the hunter picks off the extra mobs with his bow.

All in all its probably the easiest game to get into in its genre.

A near spot-on summary, you just forgot to mention the words 'totally' and 'queer'.
