Lot of music listening today. 3 bands in total and at least one cd from all of them.

The French progressive symphony metal band Adagio (Yea I know, a French metal band!)

Amon Amarth - The Swedish Melodic Death band (gotta love some good melodic death)

And the awesome classic rock band The Animals (Eric Burdon got some voice)

Was in a bit of an Indie rock mood for the past month, just started listening to Tupac again, really enjoying it.

I probably listen to them already weaste but I grew up listening to Lanegan, he's one of very few people I've encountered that I was truly star struck by.

Its not just the voice but his song writing and lyrics are excellent.. I love him, he's like my Robbie Williams

On a totally different note... how about this for a bit of angry country.... Rawlings - the acoustic Hendrix
