Hi mate

Fairly easy trip for you if you get the train from the airport to Picc Station, and get the tram from there to Bury town centre, and from memory it's a 10 minute walk. I used to have a free season ticket at Bury actually, enjoyed it down there

Only issue with that is that they're fucking around with the trams at the minute, and it doesn't stop til the 2nd week in September, so depends when your game is. There are replacement bus services on mind, though a regular bus to Bury of which there are plenty might do the job faster if the tram is off

Send a message via MSN to mickthered
135 bus from town will drop you off at the bottom of Gigg lane
Just as quick as the tram if you take into account the walk to the ground

Also talk of the possibility of match busses running until the trams are back

I have found the replacement buses to me much more reliable than the trams themselves, x2 and x3 is the fastest with 400 going to all stops which takes about 1hr and half.
