All Midlands reds

I am currently in the process of arranging a little jolly down to London on Saturday August the 4th for the game against AFC Wimbledon.

Now theres a special deal on offer here which should be of great interest.

Basically theres going to be a free coach laid on ( 49 seater luxury coach ) with pick ups at Wolverhampton, Great Bridge ( my pub ) and then maybe Birmingham ( pick up point to be arranged ).

What I need to know is how many people would be interested in going. I have quite a few people who are seriously wanting to go for the day out, but I would prefer to take a large number of FC fans down in a group. Priority goes to FC fans first. Any remaining spaces go to people who are interested in a good day out and would like to experience what FCUM is all about.

What will it cost ? Well, the coach is going to be free YES YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT. THE COACH IS GOING TO BE FREE !!!!,

So all you've got to pay for your beer and match ticket. Not bad really for a trip down to London is it...

What I propose is everyone chucks £10 in the kitty and whatever we take gets given to the club for the development fund. If we fill the coach then its £490 for the club. Should there be such a huge demand then a second coach can be got but that one would have to be paid for thus there would be a cost involved, which I believe will work out to be about £5 per person. If this were the case then the club would get whatever was left after the coach had been paid for

I think that sounds a pretty good deal really. If people cant afford the £10 then it wont bar them from going because it should be purely voluntary and no one should feel obligated to pay for it if they cant afford it. However if we are needing two coaches then there will be a mandatory £5 fee to cover the cost of the second coach.

How does everyone feel, and what support would this get.

I would want to guarantee at least 30 people so that its worthwhile spending all that time arranging...

( oh and if enough people are interested, we may arrange brekkie and an early beer stop in my pub first, but that has to be paid for )
