In with a chance again?

After recent form, three games in hand over Ossett and only five points behind Curzon...could we go up again?

and if so how would our current sqaud cope with yet another leap in the right direction?

Personally I think it would need a lot of changes if they was to go up again
Although I would say up to now the players have done ok considering the amount of players that have been out for almost all of the season so far

Think Ossett are in a bit of a false position due to the amount of games they have played
Top three in no particular order at the end of the season will be between FC,Curzon and Bradford
Osset,Bamber bridge and Skem fighting it out for fourth and fifth
Unless someone else makes a late run

Skem may struggle though after losing their top striker Tony Evens to Witton though

Bradford look a decent side, took us apart earlier on in the season. How many go up from here is it two again?

One up automatic then the next four go into a play off

Unless the league decide to change it at the last minute

fair enough

i don't thin it would be unfair to say that Bradford and Curzon will probably be the two fighting it out for top spot.

But FC have got more than a good chance of being there and there abouts for the playoffs

Chaddy is still a couple of weeks away. He joined in 5-a-side at training this week but he still isn't quite ready for the full-blooded 11-a-side game. Yesterday he was still targetting the end of this month.
Think he will make a big difference once he returns

Indeed.

I think we're set for a good run-in with players coming back etc.

Howard back for Rebels

Quote:
18/ 1/2008

WINGER Josh Howard is ready to pep FC United's promotion drive in the Unibond Division One North game at bottom club Radcliffe.

The former Manchester United youth skipper has been sidelined with a knee injury which has needed attention for floating bone and cartilage trouble.

But he is ready to start at Stainton Park tomorrow after coming off the bench for 20 minutes last Saturday when United beat Chorley 2-1, and he reported no reaction afterwards.

That win took FC to fourth and the chase after leaders Curzon Ashton is set for a further double tonic as Stuart Rudd (cruciate) and Dave Chadwick (cartilage) are back in training ahead of schedule.
Getting better all the time
