They are now at tier 7, next is conference north then conference national. Really is a great achievement to have gotten to this point so quickly, not sure if they'll manage to go up again next season, although AFC Wimbledon managed to get promoted yesterday to the conference south.

The FC fans I know say different, but I think FC's natural home is non-league. Decent ticket prices, less restrictive legislation.... The lower leagues in England seem to be the worst of both worlds.

It must be more or less impossible to get to the top in 5 years. Would it be possible to build all the facillities needed, the structure of a premier club and so on. Not to mention the money needed to sign and pay players, especially with the policy the club has its pedistals foundated deeply in with not being a sell out club and not wanting to have the inevitable development of ticket prices. The last few steps have taken clubs 4 times the size of FC several years to complete.
