do you expect a club of United's size to be run by some part time unqualified workers ? do you expect the to live of donations. amateurs will drive united into the ground , an qualified professional wont work for coupons. your theory is detached from reality ... its more of a fantasy ... you know it will never happen and im sure it calms you down that while riding your high horse there are enough of "loyalist" that will make sure "we'll never die" |

you keep restating the basics of democracy. and for what ? the minute sport becomes a profession it becomes a business. its their life and their living. at the head of professional football club there are always businessmen , and good businessmen are looking to profit. be it a privately owned club or even clubs like Madrid and Barca where the executives lie their arses off to get elected and get that fat pay check. be it Calderon who said he signed ronaldo , or barca who are now being sued fro claiming to having secured henry. its always the same shite with those clubs. theres nothing stable about any aspect of either of those clubs everything constantly changes when people realize the cunt they elected is not what he said he is. thats precisely the reason that nearly all professional clubs are privately owned. only really small clubs and semi-professional clubs can allow themselves to be run by part time unpaid chairmen , by people who dont care for capitalism or business. UNITED WAS NEVER SUCH CLUB , so i really dont know what fucking clubs the lot of you were following all those years . why before you were letting the business side be and concentrated on voicing your opinions regarding football ?!? from what i hear it is the fans who disliked Sexton and had him sacked. it is the fans who nearly sacked fergie. the fans SHOULD always have a say in the football part of the game , and they will ALWAYS have that say especially if the club is privately owned. but you cant take some ones life and some ones profession and turn it into your personal hobby , i mean you really want to you should gather a bunch of people and form a football club and do whatever the fuck you want with it. but your drivel about turning a club of United stature into something like that is deranged . its not about democracy its about being completely detached from reality and and extremely hypocritical (granted that you were loyal fans of a club run by businessmen for a long time). |

Where can I buy this new homeshirt??.....
I live in Italy and getting home to the UK is a rare event!. I left Salford just as the Glazer takeover had happened and was I really quite positive about the forming of FCUoM and their stance regarding 'capitalism', but sadly haven't had much press about it over here, would really like to get more info about club and follow the progress for the 07/08 season.....any suggestions?? |

that theory they came up with for UNITED (not FC) ignores such words, it takes on professionals who devoted their life to the sport and trying to make them into amateurs with a hobby . sure its hippy like to hate money, but lets say a footballer breaks both his legs .. cant support the family anymore , so a person who could have been making a great living has just subjected his family to a life of struggle ? and for what ? for the benefit of some self proclaimed saints ? i doubt those saints are unemployed , i bet much like you they are a part of capitalism and make a good living . i also bet that if they are offered more money for what they do they wouldn't refuse it either. bunch of hypocrisy mixed with fantasy ...not only that will never happen in a country where capitalism is everything but also its poorly thought through , because those players devote their life to a very short playing career, the risk they take is far too great, the physical burden is far too great and when you consider how much they benefit others in terms of entertainment, advertisement, commercial opportunities (for city and neighboring businesses) you get the answer of why are they rewarded. everything becomes more expensive with time , if you rent than you know what you paid in 2000 is different from what you paid in 1960. |

I'm sure FCUM could if they wished sell that adult shirt for £20 and still keep the others at their current prices. And would have sent a true message that stand against all that is wrong with football today. And one of the things wrong with football today is the cost to the fan |
