probably about the most obnoxious set of fans I have come across in non league football probably in league football as well

Think possibly FC could have been up there with them had their form for the first half of the season been as good as their form in the second half of it

Basically a new side this season with a lot of new faces and a few long term injuries early season didn't help

A big difference now that the team has a few more games under its belt has started to gel as a team and have a lot more belief and confidence

play-offs are a one game play off with 2 v 5 and 3 v 4 then the 2 winners play a one off game with whoever finished highest in the league having home advantage

Went to the game last night. My first FC match. Liked it, although I don't know how different the atmosphere is at Gigg Lane, whether a lot of regulars there don't go to Stalybridge or not. There was a good atmosphere though, even if the view wasn't so good on the terraces. Always good to stuff the scousers as well. A lot of people buzzing about the result at White Hart Lane as we walked back to the station too, so it (along with the always great Buffet Bar at Stalybridge station) added up to a great night.

Liked it, although I don't know how different the atmosphere is at Gigg Lane, whether a lot of regulars there don't go to Stalybridge or not. There was a good atmosphere though, even if the view wasn't so good on the terraces. Always good to stuff the scousers as well. A lot of people buzzing about the result at White Hart Lane as we walked back to the station too, so it (along with the always great Buffet Bar at Stalybridge station) added up to a great night.
