FC United Ball number 30 in the draw.

Dunno who everyone else is hoping FC get drawn against.

Personally I'd like a nice draw against a 2nd division team who are struggling a bit.

Lincoln City would be an ace draw.

1406: The draw for the second round of the FA Cup is happening right now. FC United of Manchester face a trip to Brighton or Woking, but more news on the whole draw to follow.
So, Brighton most likely it is.

I was hoping for the same. Got a lot of friends in Lincoln and they are a shite team too. Would have been a good trip.

Bury would have been an interesting one too.

Now it's likely FC will face big United's 1983 FA Cup final opposition. Bizarre.

Hoping like hell its Woking.

Brighton have the most horrendous ground I can imagine. Its simply an athletics track with plastic seating stuck around the sides.

Should we remind them about what a difference Stevie Foster will make

It's a reasonably big draw, and most possibly it'll be televised. IF FC pull an upset, it will be a joyride from then on.

900 Only in the away end
and a running track around the pitch that you need a pair of binoculars to see

Of all the teams left in the competition, FC happen to get drawn against the one with the worst ground, and the best team.

Karma for Rochdale I suppose.

It could potentially be 1200 Mick. Their ground holds 8k and FC would be entitled to 15%

You should expect to get family stand + W block which woking were in, I think total capacity 1750, and much better view than the usual away end.
just seen this on a Brighton forum

Indeed. They are also in pretty good form, haven't been beaten since early September. It'll be better if Woking pull an upset, but I doubt it.

looks like I won't be able to make this, £51 return the cheapest as an advance ticket, with the replay not being till the 16th as well as the issue of an allocation its likely to be £65 return for me.

FC radio this time sadly

I hope so... even the beer festival in Brighton isn't enough to counteract the distance and the shit ground.

boogie bus double decker was full within 15 mins of the draw with 35 on the reserve list a few more on that and an extra coach will be booked

Tameside still taking bookings and official coach not been announced yet

If you're getting the train, you'll be pleased to know that the Victoria Line is not running that weekend (assuming you're going Man Picc -> Euston, Victoria -> Brighton). You'll need to get the Northern Line to Embankment then change and get the District or Circle Line to Victoria.

You can go first class on Virgin for just short of £80, standard is £58.

think it was chester-crewe-london euston, tube to victoria, victoria to preston park (which is 15 mins from the ground)

there is another way via London Bridge from Euston I believe, about 20 mins longer than the euston-victoria-preston park route
