After last Saturdays defeat away to Lancaster City, FC United tonight lost at home to Garforth Town..

One player from each side sent off, Referee an absolute fucking idiot..

Ho hum..

Sack the board.. Sack Margie.. Sack the owners...

Nope Garforth were dirty and the ref was shite. Patterson got a broken foot in a nasty deliberate challenge Rudd got sent off for getting punched?!?!?! (the "puncher" got sent too) good atmosphere... shit result

I have a question about this level of football. Is there are a transfer market? Do clubs buy players and have them under contract like the pro leagues?

Players who are on a contract can be brought and sold

In the case of a non-contract player the club intending to sign the player must submit a seven-day notice to that players present club stating that they instead to speak to him.

however in some cup competitions the player can still be cup tied or may have to be at the club a certain length of time before the game is played

There have been cases of some players playing against FC last season for about 6-7 different clubs

Yes, transfer fees can be demanded for players under contract. After all, the transfer fee is paid on the transfer of registration, not the physical move itself.
