Games in hand

I reckon they could really work against us at this rate, they are certainly mounting up now. We are sitting in a fairly good position today after a brilliant result, but when are all these matches going to fit in to the remainder of the season?

It'll be a really hard run in with too many matches.

Fingers crossed though.

Game Monday then one Wednesday
Two games a week for almost every week for the rest of the season
And still involved in two cup competitions
A hard run in for the players and an expensive one for the fans

But the way results have gone for other teams at least they are in a better position then what they were a few weeks ago and another top of the table clash next week

bloody hell, another game called off! It says on the Unibond site that it's pending a league enquiry.
Anyone know what that's about?

playing Clitheroe tonight

Problems with the curzon game

Bury said they did not want us to play the game against Curzon because they were playing the night before, by sending an email

FC replied that as the game was still a few days away and that there would be no games played over the weekend and that it should give the pitch time to recover and also that under the terms of the agreement that they should wait to see what the ref said over the pitch inspection

the ref turned up said the pitch was playable (after being let in by Bury)
Bury chairman said the game was not going ahead

Bury say to the league then that they told FC the game was not going ahead
Weeks earlier
yet still let the ref in for pitch inspection
And only let the stewards know that the game is off at 9pm the night before
