Ok then. Where do you stand.

percentage wise. i personaly have nothing against FCUM fans who still love united, but the ones who damage OT i dont like. i am up for the MRE singing under the boardwalk, but dont like the anti-rio / Fergie songs.

in terms of percentage where do you FCUM fans stand between united and FCUM.

I am bemused by some of the stuff on here, especially since I am a neutral fan.Can someone explain:

a)Is it possible to be both a whole hearted fan of Man Yoo and FCUnited?
b)Why do some presumably former Man Yoo but now FCUnited fans appear to have so much vitriol for their former love ie Man Yoo?
c)Is it just the fad of the moment or will FC United continue in the long term?

My own view is that in 2 years noone will even talk about FC United

a) Yes, and this is backed up by the fact hundreds do go to both Man United and FC United

b) All FC United fans are STILL Man United fans, but slightly more aware of what has been going on and how they have been shafted by those wanting to make money out of United.

c) Not at all. THe number of young kids who now go to FC UNited, and will never go to a Man United game, will ensure FC United goes on way into the future. Not only that, even if Glazer does go, many fans have said they wont be going back now anyway.

As for your own view, well you are entitled to that, but the club is OFFICIALLY the fastest growing club in Britain, so if current trends continue FC United will become talked about more and more.

a)Is it possible to be both a whole hearted fan of Man Yoo and FCUnited?

I don't see why not - plenty of people in football are involved in their local amateur club AND supports a professional club

b)Why do some presumably former Man Yoo but now FCUnited fans appear to have so much vitriol for their former love ie Man Yoo?

Dunno - I guess they feel let down and are bitter

c)Is it just the fad of the moment or will FC United continue in the long term?

I'm sure it will keep existing, but personally, I doubt they'll manage to keep up the current following when the novelty has worn off, and they hit a couple of seasons with less succcess.

Personally, I wish them all the success they want, but haven't got any ind of affinity to FC.

about them carrying on they must realise that times will be harder and the novelty might wear off when there not top f the league. they should be now, having the cream of the crop from thousands of players but it wont always be so easy in higher leagues. i just hope for their sake that the younger fans can remain excited about FCUM.

So if you have no affinity to FCUM then why are you in their forum other than to just try and stir up shit.

Do you go and post on Chelseas forum?

Do you post on Citys forum ?

If you dont then why are you here. You dont want to know about FCUM so why not just go and post on a forum that does actually matter to you.

You obviously havent read my "oh bollocks to this, lets abuse the scousers" thread...

I still have United inside me, but its taken a beating lately.

At times it does show itself as perhaps it should....

Just the way I am. I fight tooth and nail for what I believe in..... No half measures on my part I am afraid. Its all or nothing...

Oh feck off, will you.

I'm not here to stir up the shit, I was giving my opinion on some question asked.

You would know everything about stirring up shit, Fred.

Who says I don't want to know about FCUM?

i never doubted this. i think deep down your even more united, determined to rid glazer and restore united back to a football club, not a business as it is now.

You know what, for someone who I thought of so young, you do appear to have a bit more about you than many of the older ones who try to knock FC United.

You have just summed it up to a tee.

Make United a football club as it was when it started out, and I will be there till the day I die. Keep it as it is and I will watch and cheer for them, but no way will I put another penny in.

It's hardly anti-Fergie vitriol.

'I don't care about Rio
he don't care about me
all I care about is watching FC'

Is that any worse than booing the actual player or singing 'sign or fuck off'?

I think that's how the Anti-Ferguson brigade has twisted it.

I think what was said was that when they complained about the ticket prices, he said that they should check out what it costs at other grounds, at e.g. Chelsea - or summar to that effect.

Why would the fans have a go at Fergie about ticket prices? I was under the impression that they questioned him about 'selling out' to the Glazers.

I appreciate it's all hearsay but the incident was reportedly witnessed by a number of people.

The fans were having a go at Sir Alex for not standing up to Glazer or resigning, and were complaining, among other things, about being priced out from the game. As a response to being priced out, Sir ALex responded that they should check the prices at Chelsea.

From The Times:

"The hot air seemed to be blowing only one way — at least until Ferguson, according to those within earshot, told the fan that if he was so unhappy with the new regime at Old Trafford, he should “go and watch Chelsea”, or at least examine the ticket-pricing policy at Stamford Bridge before criticising the Glazers."

So, obviously, the anti-Ferguson brigade would twist this and use it in a "that cnut Fergie told us to feck off and watch Chelsea if we don't like what's happening at United" kinda way.
