Nantwich and Ilkeston and Bradford all have 4 matches in 12 days- We play all three, hopefully they'll be shagged out and get beaten.

Unlucky not to beat nantwich woodwork saved em at least three times if not four a couple of very good shouts for pens bottled by the ref they came for the draw and were very happy to go home with a point

The key will be to beat Bradford by more goals than they win their game in hand ( that's if they do ) Then assuming everyone else wins all of their remaining games, that would keep FC above Kendal on goal difference and above Hednesford on points- leaving FC, Nantwich and Guiseley as the playoff teams with Ilkeston.
So it's in their own hands to reach the playoffs without relying on other results.

The way I work it out if BPA win 4 nill at leigh it would then mean we would have to beat them at least by 2 on Saturday to go above them on level goal difference but more goals scored

Basically each winning goal will count as two in the goal difference stakes

So if they win 2-0, we only have to beat them by 1 goal to go through to the playoffs.
While we only have to do that to advance, someone else will undoubtably slip up in those other games on tuesday and next saturday so with some luck things might be easier.

How do the playoffs work?

I seem to remember last year it was 2nd at home to 5th, 3rd host 4th and the winners play one game. Is that the format or is it home and away?

Here's the table-

1 Eastwood Town...41 24 12 5 80 37 43 84

2 Ilkeston Town.....41 23 13 5 59 31 28 82
3 Nantwich Town...41 21 10 10 80 40 40 73
4 Guiseley........... 41 21 10 10 96 59 37 73
5 FC United ........ 41 21 8 12 81 57 24 71

6 Bradford Park A. 41 20 11 10 73 51 22 71
7 Kendal Town..... 41 20 11 10 82 61 21 71
8 Hednesford Tow. 41 21 6 14 77 50 27 69
9 Ashton United....41 16 10 15 70 73 -3 58

Assuming everyone else wins on saturday- if FC beats Bradford then Kendal has to win by at least 4 goals.
If FC draw then they can only go through if Kendal loose or draw too and Hednesford loose or draw.
Bottom line- Nothing much has changed they still have to beat Bradford.

They still have to beat BPA but I think that after tonights games people were expecting that they was going to have to win by at least 2-3 goals if not more

I would be surprised if kendal put four or more past Buxton on Saturday
