Still a chance

Down to the last two games BPA lost yesterday Curzon drew

BPA top two points in front of FC
Curzon second and one point ahead of FC

Could make an interesting last Saturday of the seaon depending on midweek games FC could even go top midweek

Roll on Saturday

I see that you've had to play about 15 games in the last month which can't of helped but you're on a good run of late so if you win both games who knows. Still the play-offs as a back-up.

Good luck.

Even tighter at the top after this weekend's results, with any of the top three in with a real chance of winning the title now....

Code:
UniBond League - 1st Div North
                       P GD Pts PP
1 Bradford PA 40 47 79 85
2 Curzon Ashton 40 34 78 84
3 FC United 40 41 77 83
4 Skelmersdale United 41 45 75 78
5 Ossett Albion 39 20 70 79
6 Bamber Bridge 39 13 70 79
7 Newcastle Blue Star 40 13 60 66
From that, it looks like Curzon and FC both need another win to guarantee a play off place, while BPA need another point to do the same.

Curzon travel to 4th place Skelmersdale next weekend, with a draw being a great result for FC United in that one.
Bradford travel to lowly Rossendale, with an away win expected.

Before that, though, BPA host Osset tonight, FCUM host Woodley on Wednesday while Curzon travel to Newcastle Blue Star on the same night.
A big week for the Unibond North! FC United will need to pull all the stops out this week and hammer Woodley to make an impact on the superior goal difference of Bradford; if Bradford draw tonight and Curzon fail to win at Newcastle on Wednesday, two big wins would give FC a third title in consecutive seasons; that would be some achievement even with the backing they have had.

Ossett are the form team at the moment and I expect them to give BPA a good game
Newcastle Blue Star have only lost two home games this season Ossett and FC at weekend

Live radio commentary via mobile phone

http://www.fcum.tv/radio

If on May 11th 2005 somebody had said, "Within three years 200 people will be sat in front of their computer listening to Non League Football between two teams of sheep shaggers via a mobile phone."

United need to turn in two major displays (6-0 jobs) to stand a chance now imho. Can't see Bradford getting nothing from the game at Rossendale at the weekend unfortunately, although a Newcastle win against Curzon would set us up nicely for an easier run in the play offs.
