Taking us to the promised land!

Moses Junior Signs for FCUM 21/07/2008

FC United of Manchester have announced the signing of Tunji Moses, the son of former Manchester United midfielder Remi Moses, after he parted with old club Salford City.
Moses is an all-action midfielder in the same mould as his famous father and FC United manager Karl Marginson is expecting big things from him next season.
Unfortunately, fans may have to wait until December to see their new man in action after he serves a suspension and recovers from an ankle injury.
But Marginson is excited about his newest requisition and feels that Moses joining is testament to his plans for an incredible fourth promotion push this season.

Not since Moses. A few have stepped up from the reserves.

Mick will probably have a list, I have a memory like a sieve!

Cheers. Is it a realistic hope to get promotion again this season?

I very much doubt it. FC are now at a level where their wages are one of the lowest in the league so they're having to be very canny about getting players... Relying on young lads keen to "move up a level"

Can't see the wages thing change until they have their own ground as it's costing a fortune to play at Bury and no-one else will do it cheaper.

That's a shame, I read about this earlier on in the year. I understand they are trying to get a ground of 5,000 capacity and I also understand the City council were behind the idea, has there been any progress made since?

At the moment I think he'd struggle to get in.

I'd see his role as a "Phil Power" type i.e. he sits on the bench, and if any of our small young players are having the shit kicked out of them.. on he goes... to exact retribution!
