I have to admit i havent totally followed FC United this season, although londonredmaniac has kept me up to date with it all. All i want to say is congrats to the lads at FC United. Keep it up boys, same again next season (both FC United and Manchester United if we win it that is).

Well book the 3rd August as a date for you to watch FC.

They are playing AFC Wimbledon in London, so theres a chance for cockney reds to get to watch FC. It may suit some, it may not. But at least give it a try.

Went to almost every game last season, but only four this season due to work..

It really is a good day out, and dont let anyone make you believe its full of anti MUFC people directing abuse at anyone still connected with MUFC. Thats bullshit.

Its just MUFC fans going out cheering for the team they created, and giving Glazer a shit load of abuse whilst they are at it...

Other than that, its just like going back and watching MUFC in the 70s

You going to the AFC Wimbledon vs FC game? If you are i live that way so could go for a drink before hand if your up for it. One quick question, would you be looked down on if you wore a United shirt to the game (i wouldnt wear this seasons, but maybe one of the old classics i own).

I was there to see FC get promoted and to win the Cup, also nicked the corner flag from Curzon Ashton's ground after the game, then someone Roma'd me by turning up in the pub with the match ball. Cracking night out with a couple of Caff posters. Sparkle (my other half) 26 May 1999 and May 1999.

I enjoyed FC more than I thought i would, and the standard was higher than i thought it would be. I really didn't know what to expect but was impressed. Felt weird supporting another team mind, even if by enlarge they are Man United fans supporting FC.

Hopefully the us and them aspect (on both "sides") has disipated. I could see myself enjoying them in their own right but not as an alternative to United or even a partial alternative to United by boycotting OT. Next time I get back home I'll take my son to both I'd guess. It would be even better if there was safe standing at OT but I doubt it somehow.

There isn't a them and us thing anymore, not that I noticed anyway, was just weird cheering on another team, when Man Utd have nothing to gain from it. I would never support FC instead of Man Utd but it is a good atmosphere. Will be interesting to see how they get on as they get higher up the league. They will be 4 promotions away from the Football league at the start of next season

They will enter it next season. Teams have to do a season in the FA Vase (which they did this season) before they can compete in the FA Cup.

FC will go into the Premliminary round, which is the second loest starting point. They would have to win 5 games to qualify for the first round, when the league clubs come in.
