wear your Rosettes

Cup final day on Thursday

Quote:
******IT’S PAY ON THE GATE*****

Thursday’s President’s Cup Final offers us a great opportunity to bring people along to the game who may have not been for a while as it’s the first cup final ever as Reds where we have not had to buy tickets in advance.

Bring the family, bring yer mates but most of all bring your voices and colours, wear those Rosettes, bring a bar scarf, get the flags out for cup final night!

We know Thursday night might not be the best of nights to have a cup final but last year’s was a great success and the vocal support realy helped the lads to victory. As Jerome said today at the General Meeting: "The supporters really make the difference, that’s why we score so many late goals."

So hope to see everyone there

Bring on United!

Anyone fancying a few cheap beers before and/or after the game, the landlord (Graham) of the K Bar, Oldham Road, Ashton-under-Lyne has asked me to let people know that all are welcome at his Red friendly pub. He's only been in the pub a couple of months and is in the process of "sorting it out" He can promise - room for about 100 people, Boddingtons at £1.60 a pint, a couple of lagers at £1.80 and £2.30, etc. Karaoke on as well. If he has an idea that there will be a few coming in, then he will put on some free sarnies, etc.

The pub is about 50 yards from Tameside theatre and close to the bus station. Not the most salubrious of establishments, but welcoming, cheap and a great place to celebrate (cue positive waves)

FC 2-0 Radcliff

Good game, good loud support. Fc left it late to score but bagged 2 in the final 15 minutes.
