Brandy's off (on loan)
Swans get taste of Brandy
United striker set to join League One leaders on loan Swansea are set to secure the services of Febian Brandy on loan from Manchester United. The 18-year-old striker has yet to feature for United's senior side but is a regular member of their reserve team. Sir Alex Ferguson has now decided to send him out to gain valuable first-team experience with the League One leaders. He is due to train with the rest of the Swansea squad on Thursday before putting pen-to-paper on a short-term deal. Brandy has been described as a small but skilful forward who prefers to drop deep and use his speed to run at defenders. Talented wee player. Hope this goes well for him. The Welsh hacks must be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of all the crap, drink-related puns. Maybe we should send Cofie and Drinkwater along with him? |

Very talented player, one of the best forwards to come from our academy in the last 20 years. Hope this goes well. Despite losing to Havant & Waterlooville in the cup, Swansea arenīt doing badly this season, top of League 1, so heīs joining a good team, letīs hope he can help them get even better.
Another good thing about this is that Welbeck will get more chances with the reserves. |
