Cameron Stewart sold to Hull

Cameron Stewart is apparently going on loan to Hull - according to Hull Independant.

Cool. Let's hope he's as successful as Frazier was.

I was really impressed by him in the reserve derby this week. One player who stood out, did a really good job on the left and was our only real attacking spark.

Stewart has definitely got a fair bit of talent - he's quick, direct and a skilful dribbler. Perhaps this is what he needs to iron out the more frustrating aspects of his game, though I suppose young wingers are some of the most inconsistent footballers out there.

Don't think it's too outrageous to predict him to kick on a fair bit during this loan. Forgot he was as young as 19 years of age.

Watched the first half of Palace v.s. Hull. He's looked good, played a couple of good balls in, and is worrying the Palace left-back.

He did give away a dangerous free-kick though.

Thanks for the review, Minkaro. Cameron and Ajose seem to be doing very well for themselves under the radar.

Man-of-the-match against Bristol City. He set up Jay Simpson's first goal.

Quote:
Simpson opened his account from close range in the 13th minute from a cross by man of the match Cameron Stewart, who terrorised City’s defence.

How do they rate him compared to Campbell?

Seems he's attracting interest from other Championship sides, Leeds and Cardiff mentioned.

Read on a HullCity forum, that his contract expires at the end of the season, do you guys think that he'll be offered a new deal. Personally from what I have seen of him, I think he is not good enough for United, but than again I don't see much of the reserves so my opinion might be harsh on him.

Read a post saying he was the quickest player at Hull since Frazier "with added Ronaldo step-overs". Fair play to him. He seems to be becoming a bit of a favourite.

2 assists so far against Sheffield United, and two goals for Jay Simpson. He could get used to this...

Competitive footie seems to be agreeing with him. I must admit I didn't think he was quite ready for The Championship, but hey, that just makes it sweeter.

Hull forums:

Quote:
More dynamite from young Cameron today. Its becoming more evident that he's at his most threatening down the flanks, despite the fact that he's being played as part of a attacking pair. What I really like about him is that he seems to be able to cause problems on both flanks, and NP seems to have given him licence to do so. Simpson's first goal against Bristol was made by a blinding run down the left, whilst the two goals he created today came from astonishing, lightning raids down the right (although he did spend part of the first half today ensconced on the left). Very exciting stuff to watch.

Cameron Stewart playing incredibly well

Depressed when they levelled and thought another opportunity gone again to win there when Cameron Stewart mesmerised them from the half way line and JImmy followed up to grab the winner.

Stuart [sic] was sensational

this guy is brilliant, we have to sign him!!!

this is a massive turn around, a few weeks ago we'd lost that 3-2 and given up...!!!
Quote:
A few weeks ago we didn't have Cameron Stewart and wouldn't have scored any goals.
Quote:
That kind of speed is priceless, particularly when he can do it as well in the last 10 minutes as in the first 5. Looks more and more like Fraizer Campbell every week.
Quote:
I think campbell was better at awareness in the box and finishing, but stewert is better at speed and beating his man and can play in more positions. looks good.
Quote:
He was outstanding today, a real livewire and a constant threat to our defence. How long have you got him for?
Quote:
Would you believe a few on here were moaning about us getting him loan lol!!!

Absolute gem this lad. Id like to see him fill our problem left wing position, once Mclean and Hopefully Fryatt have arrived.
Goals.

So far today he's won a pen that Bullard put away and a freekick that Bullard smacked against the bar. I think.
