England V Holland (Under 19's)

On Setanta tonight @730pm. Anyone know if any of our youngsters are playing or in the squad?

Welbeck's too fast for the rest of the squad.

Corner to England, Lansbury goes close.

Murphy holds it up for Moses, but way-wide.

Just realised Liverpool have no players in this squad. I guess this UEFA homegrown criteria problem will persist for a while.

The Nederlands score. Fantastic goal.

Goal by Wijnaldum, Football Manager legend.

Half-time.

England U19s 0-1 Holland U19s (Wijnaldum 43')

Welbeck's looked good; should have scored.

Moses looks impressive.

Lansbury's had a solid game.

Barazite and Wijnaldum have been dangerous, picking on England's lack of width.

Which speaks bounds about England - no width. A bit like Liverpool. The best bits of width have come from Moses, but not great.

Moses does not look at all impressive to me. Tidy dribbler and very pacy, but can't pass, can't shoot and doesn't know where to go when he has the ball very often.

Welbeck, on the other hand, has been excellent, quality link up and very tidy (if a little unco-ordinated). I know there have been many comparisons between him and Kanu, but reminds me more of Berba(!!!) - excellent link up play, great close control, knows what he's doing in the box and kan keep the ball in very tight spaces. Also has a quality first touch most of the time, however, the fact that he is clearly still developing physically makes him look clumsy at times.

Moses kind of reminds me of Hargreaves's way of playing - plenty of dribbling, but in Moses's case, he doesn't seem to know when to dribble and when to pass.
