Floribert N'Galula

I was wondering what his status is currently. I know that he suffered a bad injury, a broken leg I believe, so I realize that it could take up to a year to recover from it.

I thought it was his back.
He should be fit this pre-season.

If he is ready for this preseason then what will his position be? I know that United groomed him to be a Vieira-type player but he was playing in central defense in the reserves. I'm also wondering if he will be loaned out at some point to get some higher calibre experience.

In fact he has a problem with his hip.....it has failed to respond to treatment and he was sent home to Belgium for rest........

I'll let you know if he is back after next week's academy game....

Yes...played first half...one crunching tackle that was superb but his passing was rusty.....

Heaton...............one great save
Gray..................solid
Rose..................good passing - probably our best player
McShane............very solid
Shawcross..........good in the air but his positioning is poor
R. Jones..............poor game..not with it at all
Marsh.................worst game I have seen him play...didn't look interested
N'Galula...............rusty
Campbell..............tidy but not given anything to work with
Martin..................tried hard and could have scored but got frustrated
S. Evans.............anonymous

Subs:

Crockett.............not much to do
Mullan................threatened on left wing whenever he got the ball..needs to be quiker with his crossing
Barnes...............tidy...showed good touches but needs more grit
Burns.................worked hard
Hewson..............got stuck in..

Hopefully things will improve.....
