Manchester United Premier Cup 2008

It starts tomorrow(03.08.2008). It's an U15 tournament for players born after 01.01.1993 so the squad should be similar to the one that played in the Marveld tournament earlier this summer.

United's group is :

1.Manchester United
2.Villa 2000
3.Audax Italiano
4.Real Madrid
5.Paris Saint Germain

Our games tomorrow are: 03 august 2008
09.30 - Manchester United vs. Villa 2000
11.30 - PSG vs. Manchester United

I think MUTV will show some footage from the tournament sometime tomorrow probably around 4 or 5pm

Hopefully they'll do better than they did in the Marveld cup.

1-1 against PSG, decent result. Madrid drew with Audax Italiano as well.

Jackson Ramm is a quality name. He has to make it. It's like being called Max Power.

We beat Audax Italiano 2-1, so I think a draw against Madrid would probably take us into the quarter-finals.

Team

1. Johnston
2. Keane
3. Giverin
4. Thorpe
5. Mellor
8. Cole
9. Keane W
10. Morrison
11. Cofie
12. Gomez
15. Sutherland

6. Blackett (3)
7. Ramm (15)
13. Ward
14. Lawrence
16. Gnahore

0-1 at half time but Keane and Thorpe scored in injury time to win it for United. On possession and chances we were well worth the win!

They scored from a pen and hardly threatened at all.

Thanks, MUJAC. I'm very pleased to see our lads showing their true colors in this tournament. Cue heavy defeat at the feet of Fluminense.

The final is at Old Trafford tomorrow yes? I'm struggling to find information on it, what time does it kick off? I was told 5pm by the United website before, I look at the official one now and it says mid-day?!

I'm sure that during the Peterborough game they were saying it was on immediately before the Juventus game.

Anyone of you Cafs that watched some of the games Fluminese played? I heard that their Starplayer Wellington de Silva, who was voted MVP of the tournament (Fabio was MVP, when United first saw the twins) is quite a stunning player. I know we have alot of Brazilians but talent is talent...

I just found a clip on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-_gU...eature=related

It would have been great if anyone of you could give me some information on this player, and of course give me your view on what Unitedplayers that showed something special.
