Marveld Youth Tournament
United's U/15's participated in the Marveld Youth Tournament on 1-3 June.
United finished in 6th place for the second successive year. Results as follows: 1. v Bayern Munich 2-0 2. v FC Twente 0-0 3. v PSV 0-2 4. v Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 5. v Celtic 0-0 We did not finish strongly enough in our group to make the semi-finals so had to play Chelsea in the 5th and 6th play-off losing 0-2. yeah, he played and scored against Crewe if memory serves. Tunnicliffe's very highly-rated from what I've heard. think Keane may have made the u18 bench once at the back end of last season as well?
