No Morrison or Pogba. That's a pity.

Pogba captained France U19 vs Italy U19 yesterday or day before yesterday. Got two assists in a 3-1 victory. Probably the reason why he's isn't playing today.

Was Pogba on international duty recently? Might explain his absence. (EDIT KM stealing my thunder...)

Was Matt James also listed on the bench initially? Could've sworn I saw his name, was looking forward to seeing him back in action too.

France U19 (with Pogba) played second match against Italy today.

France won 1-0.

My bad. Actually there were two matches between France U19 and Italy U19. First one ended 3-1 and second one ended 1-0.

Petrucci also played for Italy U19 which also explains his absence.

Underwhelming so far but largely played out of position.

Fecking MUTV is down at the moment.

They usually play the younger players in the cups, good chance to rotate a bit and give others a chance to play.

Not very accurate immediately after an injury (a bit hit and miss at the best of times tbh)

Well he seemed a bit more comfortable just there. Flexing the knee and nodding his head.

Will Keane looking a class or 2 above the rest so far.
Blackett looks far more comfortable out wide.

1-0 Blackett. Nice finish, not sure if it was totally intentional.

1-0 Blackett volley from a corner. Great finish.

Yes, its been a poor match with not too many stand out performers, but thats reserve football for you.
Positives- Keane has shown quality, Blackett has done well since coming on.

Some of the lads seem to look short of match practice, with their passing and first touch a bit off.

It's a bit of a makeshift midfield and it's showing. Been very disjointed. Bury will feel unlucky not to be at least level, if not leading.

This team is young, easy lads.

Amos is 21, eight players are 18, Vermijl is 19 and Blackett is 17.
